Rafael and I decided to not spend money on gifts for each other this Christmas, but instead, we are going to go on twelve dates leading up to Christmas Day. I am really excited. I am hoping that this experience allows us to refocus our attention on one another. Sometimes I think that we get so caught up in everything we need to get done during the day that we forget about each other. Rafael planned our first date and so we are going to be baking Christmas cookies to give away to friends and family. I can't wait; it's going to really great!
